How to run a pickleball tournament
- 1
Choose singles or doubles and the scoring
Most recreational events play doubles, with games to 11, win by 2. Decide whether a match is one game or best of three.
- 2
Set up your courts
Each court is a field in the template, and matches are spread across them automatically.
- 3
Pick single or double elimination
Double elimination gives everyone at least two matches, which is popular for club events. Single elimination is faster when court time is limited.
- 4
Enter teams in pairing order
Enter each doubles team as one entry, like "Sam & Alex". The first two entries play each other, then the next two; extra entries at the end of the list get first-round byes.
- 5
Record winners and share
Tap the winner after each match and undo if needed. Players check the read-only link to see their next court.
